Usage and wallet
Your subscription and your wallet answer different questions. The plan sets your allowances; the wallet pays for metered work and shows its balance and recent activity.
What draws from the wallet
Section titled “What draws from the wallet”- Our build agent. Each turn uses model and container time, priced at 1.5 times its cost.
- Builds and private previews. 0.5 US cents a minute, at most $0.10 a build, whoever starts it: the Studio, your own assistant, or developer access on Pro (other MCP clients that sign in with OAuth).
- AI inside your apps, on Go and Pro. Each call is priced at the same 1.5 times its provider cost, within the monthly limits below.
- Not publishing or hosting. Your live apps are not charged to your wallet. Your own assistant's tokens cost nothing at Exepad.
Credit and balance
Section titled “Credit and balance”Each month the wallet receives the plan’s credit: $1 on Free (for build time only, not our agent), $8 on Go and $25 on Pro. Credit is spent first and expires at the end of the month. On every plan you can add $10 to $1,000 at a time, and added funds do not expire. On Free, two things are free and not charged to your wallet: our build agent on your first app (its builds use the build credit), and AI in previews.
Refund and support credit is credit Exepad adds when work is lost to a fault on our side, or that support grants. It carries over from month to month, and is spent after the month’s plan credit and before funds you added.
The wallet is the hard cap
Section titled “The wallet is the hard cap”There is no account-wide spend cap and no auto-reload. When the credit and balance run out, the building assistant pauses and AI calls are refused, while your live apps keep serving. You can pause an agent inside your app or give it a monthly limit, app by app.
A build starts only when the wallet can cover it, and a turn of our agent paused for funds continues once they are available.
The Studio shows an estimate before each turn of our agent.
Turns lost to a fault on our side are not charged.
AI inside your apps
Section titled “AI inside your apps”AI features inside your apps, such as chat, reading images and scanned pages, and speech, have monthly limits for each wallet, shared by the wallet’s apps. A month starts at 00:00 UTC on its first day. Apps your own AI assistant builds can't use AI models yet; for AI, create the app in the Studio.
AI charges are limited to $8 a month on Go and $25 on Pro, at the price you pay. On Free, AI in previews is free up to $1 a month; a Free live site has no AI. Live voice sessions are on Pro.
The charges ceiling is a spending limit, not included credit: a call also needs eligible credit or balance. A call reserves its maximum provider cost. After it settles, the unused reservation becomes available again within the month, and the actual cost stays counted. A top-up, a renewal or a rebuilt app does not reset the limits early, and Pause and lower limits you set stay in effect. The current policy is valid through 31 August 2027. When a limit is reached
Section titled “When a limit is reached”Follow the error or limit shown for the affected operation: each refusal names its limit. A plan limit and an AI request fail differently. Start with a small representative task, compare usage before and after it, and plan a larger trial from that measurement, with room for retries and changes.
